EXOTIC ITEMS

Thaliondor offers its players something different from other LARPs, and that something is Exotic Items.

Competing in events at Thaliondor could net you a prize, a very special prize. An Exotic Prize. Exotic Items are special relics that allow you to bend the rules a bit in the Thaliondor realm. These Exotic Items have special properties that benefit the player who wields them. Listed below are Exotic Magics, Exotic Weapons and Exotic Garments.

A hero of Thaliondor may equip one Exotic item at a time. You may own more than one Exotic item, but you cannot wield multiple Exotic items at the same time.

NON-CLASS SPECIFIC EXOTICS

Cursed Vampire Sword: A longsword of a famed Vampire that is cursed with an ancient spell. This sword allows the user to heal by inflicting damage on others. However, the user cannot be healed by any other means or ressurected. If while wielding the sword, you simultaniously kill someone as they kill you, you live. If the user is using this sword, they may not use any other melee weapon, bow, shield or buckler.

Severed Eye of the Cyclops: Eye ripped from a Cyclops, which still retains its magical properties. The eye is treated as a damaging spell that can be used at the cost of the wielder’s mana, regardless of class. This spell ignores all worn armor.

Rom's Aegis: A shield made of mystical mirrors, blessed by the god Rom. This shield is unaffected by spells that would harm shields. If a spell hits this shield, it refunds the user’s mana by one point. If this shield is broken by physical means, it shatters and disables the user’s arm. Once broken, this shield cannot be repaired.
